New Team Members (Updated)

Thu May 21, 2009 1:05 am

Please join me in welcoming the newest member of the NLSC Team, dragon@4Q! dragon@4Q should be well-known to a lot of patch users for his excellent jersey patches. He's also a moderator over on the official NBA Live forums and will be helping out around the NLSC Forum as well, in addition to posting news updates here on the main site.

NLSC Team Member and patcher Lean will also be helping out with moderating duties in the NLSC Forum from now on. Look out for some more additions to the team in the near future, we might also be inviting applications for a couple of positions as well so keep your eyes open for those announcements.

UPDATE

I'm pleased to announce a few more new faces are joining the NBA Live Series Center team. Please join me in welcoming Modifly, Kris and buzzy, I'm certain that those names will be very familiar to those of you who enjoy downloading patches for the PC versions of NBA Live.

Once again, look out for some more changes with the team as we might be advertising for some other positions in the near future. We're also looking to make some site-wide improvements as we gear up for another season of previews leading up to the release of NBA Live '10. As always, thanks for your support!

Big welcome to Ben/dragon to the team. It should have happened along time ago. Also, I didn't know you were a mod at the official forums.

Nice to see Lean on the moderation team. Watch him put some Kababayan's in check, among others.

Thanks for the big welcome, I am very happy to be more officially associated at NBA Live Series Center/Centre. I was talking with Andrew about 2 years ago or less about having 4th-Quarter.net work more closely with NBA Live Series Center/Centre but as Live 09 and maybe a possibility of no NBA Live 10 release or a non traditional format of the game being released 4th-Quarter would of struggled to survive and many of its quality patcher's have moved on.

I recently became an official EA forums Moderator for NBA Live NCAA and at EA Sportsworld. It happened about 3 or so weeks ago when Clueminati asked if I was interested in a Moderator role, of course I jumped at the opportunity and am enjoying my role there as well as here. I hope these opportunities lead to big things further down the track (Andrew knows what I am talking about from previous conversations).

I look forward to giving you the information I can from EA while also supplying feedback and comments from you guys to EA.

With this new position I will have to change my preview styles for my patches now.

Once again thank you for having me aboard and look forward to working with you guys here at NBA Live Series Center/Centre.

Thanks again and welcome back Lean. I'm still getting sorted with my setup as I've been cleaning up after severe rain. How did your era cop with the rain Andrew ?

You mean me or X? It's also raining down here, though nothing like the 2007 floods. Nothing catastrophic, just "there goes my outdoor plans" kind of weather.

I meant you. You were lucky...my room flooded and suffered damage and nearly had damage to my computer with its power cords that were plugged into power board being under water.

That sucks, sorry to hear it. My brother's up there and he fortunately didn't get any damage but a lot of the people he works with actually had their cars get washed away.

yeah some poor bastard had his car swept from car park at beach and flipped then was swept out and back in to the beach shoreline. Another guy got smashed in the chest at his office desk when a window awning from another building got blown off and smashed through his window. He suffered a heart attack as a result of shock from getting hit in the chest like that and died.

That's terrible. Similar things happened in the 2007 floods here in Newcastle, a guy lost control of his car and went into a storm drain. In a panic he tried to get out before they could organise a proper rescue attempt and got swept away and drowned.

Wed May 27, 2009 6:08 pm

ouch. just goes to show that death comes in all shapes and sizes. i remember my dog got hit by a dumbass car at my front yard and my dog still had time to run into my closet. yes friends, my closet. my clothes were bloody as hell (is that were the term bloody hell came from?)

yeah. good times. that happened last year though. AND while i am typing i am currently wearing the adidas sweater that had the most blood in it.

but what the heck, why are we even talking about people dying in floods in THIS thread.

btw, congrats to the recently added team members. maybe one day i'll be a team member.... nah. i cuss too much. either that or i need 200 more posts... nah.

Is this the same ][]]ragon who's IQ was matched only by the number of commas he used in his posts? You seem quite smart now, well done to you.

As some of you might have noticed, Pdub and JaoSming are now Assistant Administrators here in the NLSC Forum. In a nutshell, very similar roles with a few more responsibilities/abilities and of course, better parking spaces.
