I've played on PS2, my friends got a mansion and had a garage with hydrolic cars in it. Quite cool. I personnaly have only played for the purpose of shooting people and picking up hookers. :D

The game is just so much better than GTA3, not only because of the graphics, missions and what not. It's simply because this game DOES NOT HAVE THOSE STUPID ANNOYING SLOWDOWNS IN GTA3. People with nvidia cards may be fine, but my radeon 9500 chokes like crap in that game after about 20 mins of playing. Thank god they fixed Vice City!

i've only played/finished the game on ps2. i liked it a lot. especially the bunch of 80's references included in the game!!! if anyone here on this board grew up in the 80's, you know what i'm talking about  there are too many to mention but i'm sure some website lists them. also it was fun as hell trying to figure out who did the voices of the characters. i even won a few bucks from my buddies after seeing the credits roll by. rockstar sure as hell did a good job making this game

I just bought it and it's becoming very choppy and annoying and keeps freezing for two seconds after every movement. Any advice on this?

Yo, I think GTA VC is da bomb!
But I gets a bit boring when all the real missions are done and you have to buy buildings and shit.
I have bought about every building I can find, so I dont know what to do now? You can say Im stuck.

Here follows all buildings that I own:
[b]The Taxi company
The Icecream company
The Car sales
The Boat company
The Strip/dance Club
The Porno studio
The Club (with the palm as symbol)
And the Printwork

There's way more to do! Just look at your completion rating in your stats..anything short of 100% means you're missing out! =)
Do the Vigilante missions!..those are damn hard w/o the Rhino or The Hunter.

Well I have completed the game now, what I missed was to sale all the cars in the Car sales.
But in my rating as you said I was far from complete with everything, I had 52% made missions.

But I did all I could see (including the phone calls)

Those phone call missions are so funny!
Especially the one when you have to kill some guy's wife. And she spews all these pleas for help while you ram her car. Hilarious!

The most tedious missions are the RC controlled missions. Ugh.

That phonecall there your mission is to kill the-person-that-talks-to-the-lady in the airport. That was one of the most difficult mission in the game, cause when you go out of there your getaway car is gone! and then you have to find a new without getting wasted of the SWAT team, ugh I played 4 about 6times before I made it.

That's so weird, all my friends found that mission hella hard too..but for some reason, it doesn't stick out in my mind as being too bad. Don't remember what I did..

Did you find The Hunter? It's so over-rated. The tank is so much better.

The Hunter is basically an Apache helicopter, just like the one in the mission where you have to protect Cortez while his boat is trying to get away. It's alright. It's got missiles and a superfast chaingun. But it's pretty weak physically. You can only find it once you finish the main storyline or if you collect all 100 packages. Just go to the military base near the airport. It's at the back of the base. But make sure you go in with a cop uniform cuz if you don't, the marines will shoot the crap out of u.

hehe..i don't have any skins. Do you know any good add-ons for that game?

What do you have to do to be able to do the last two missions of the story? I've just completed "Cop Land," now there isn't any more missions left to do at the Vercetti Estate.

I had the same problem. what you have to do is to buy buildings:
The Taxi company
The Icecream company
The Car sales (2 missions)
The Boat company
The Strip/dance Club
The Porno studio
The Club (with the palm as symbol)

Alright, I have completed the game, so it should be there?
I will check when I have the time.

No, but Ill guess some fans are working 4 a multplayer mod, but that will problaby take some time.
To GTA 3 I had plenty, I had like 10 new cars (inlcuding Muriclago) New weapon physics, new skins.[/quote]

argh i'm playing the game over again right now, and i'm doing that stupid mission for the Malibu club where you have to race Hillary. It's so annoying. I got by so easy the first time by shooting his tires out after i rammed him, but I can't do it again this time. Any tips?

Fuck, you shot his tire`s out?! Can you do that in that mission, that is cheat man :)

I manage to win the second time I raced him, not so hard. I use a Logictec Rumblepad with analog sticks, works great.

Is there 5 bikes in VC?! I have only seen/tryed 4. I guess that they are the regulars one?

Why I am asking this is because I found a site there all bikes stood.
And the name was:

Angel
Faggio
Freeway
PCJ 600
Sanchez

I think Sanchez is the speciell one. Has anyone found it?

you have to use the keypad..i think the defaults are:
4 - left
5 - right

just redefine them..it's in the controller config under turrets.

hmm..i'm not sure how many bikes there are. I normally just use the PCJ 600 because it's the fastest vehicle in the game (other than the choppers).
The Sanchez is just the normal dirt bike isn't it?
