Fifa 2003 - so I'm a little late with this one, sue me

Just played this game for the first time at a friends house (on the ps2) he just bought it. It's an awesome game. Which was odd for me as my general rule is that I don't like soccer (don't worry Pavel, I'm not a HATER!!!!!) I went into a shootout with him (tied 0-0, after what I think was a 15-20 minute game) and he didn't know you could aim aim on them so I won. Anyways, they have amazing graphics (can't compare them to the actual players since I don't know any of them) the motion capturing is quite good, I like the falls. Opinions on it.

Yep, it's a great game... and one of the only games i can beat my big brother in, heheh ... didn't knew so many of you americans actually knew the rules of soccer!

definitily the best fifa soccer thus far, because of the realism...

i've had it for about 4 or 5 months now, i've been playing on world class for 2 months now. the competetiveness is great and tremendous, and unlkie live 2003, offensively and defensively is fair on both ends... so your not cheated!

i love Fifa 03...now that i'm on vacations i play it daily...

i love the improved gameplayer ad the animations...and the stadiums ofcourse...

but there are three major faults...

1) It's too easy to score a goal off a free kick, no matter which player you're controlling...

2) No create / edit player mode...

3) they don't have the full Israeli league

Try Pro evolution 2! You will never ever want to play fifa games after you try that one! Trust me it is the best soccer game ever!

great game i bought when after a few day release...itz fun..but it is too easy...

well well aren't u the lucky bastard..i bought it for apx. 65 dollar canadian without taxes...

I like the game a lot. Don't like how if the ball is in the air and you press pass the guy will pass once he gets it a seconds later. I'm playing on semi-pro now after 3 16 minute games and I always get it stolen.

The stupid control the guy before he gets it feature is really pissing me off. It's made me loose 70% of my games so far. What will be happening is I'll be chasing a guy and pressing C (conservative tackle) then get it and shoot, wasting a possesion. I also dislike how paticular the passing system is. If you point in the general direction of one of your players it should go to that player, not pass a perfect pass 15 feet to his left to a player on the other team. I also kick the ball out with lobs after trying to slide tackle too many times. Still a fun game. Allthough I'm starting to get kinda pissed.
