The only funny ad by telstra was the original rabbit hunting one. The rest have been as humorous as Cyanide and BigKaboom doing standup.

Telstra hopes to use millions of taxpayer dollars to finance a film starring the hapless father-and-son team featured in its long-running BigPond "Rabbits" commercials, according to reports.

Good to know our tax dollars are being put to good use. A film that is spun off from ads for Telstra - and from the sounds of it, the film is probably going to feel like a movie length ad for Bigpond - just does not strike me as a fantastic idea.
