Games you plan on getting this Fall

It's looking like a pretty decent Fall for new video games this year. I was wondering what all of you guys were planning on getting or wanting to get before the year ends.


For me:
Mercenaries 2
possibly TNA Impact
Rock Band 2
Pure
The Force Unleashed
Far Cry 2
Fallout 3
NBA Live
Saints Row 2
Shuan White Snowboarding
Fable 2
Left 4 Dead
Gears 2
Mortal Kombat vs DC
CoD: World at War
Mirror's Edge
Banjo-Kazooie
GTAIV DLC (if that counts)
and GTA IV on PC


That is ~ 1,000 + bucks of video games that I would like to buy. All of them won't be bought right off the bat for sure, especially realizing how much is coming out. But damn, it's looking like a good Fall season for gaming.

Most likely just 2K9 and Live 09 for PS3.

2K9 and Top Spin 3 for sure.

Gears of War 2, whichever NBA sim is better, Rock Band 2, GTA IV DLC, probably some XBox arcade games.

I want to play a new FPS game for PC, anyone have any suggestions? I've played COD4, Crysis, and Bioshock. I'm thinking about Gears of War but it isn't really an fps.

Well, I'd still suggest Team Fortress 2 as it is quite different and superior on the PC. What with all the updates to the game/classes and servers that have more than three people.

And this thread fails for not mentioning LEGO BATMAN.

NBA Live 09 and Smackdown vs RAW 2009 are the only ones I'll definitely be getting, though there's a strong possibility I'll end up getting the new Mortal Kombat game too.

I'll be sure to grab a demo if there is one, if it's unimpressive I might decide against it but being somewhat of a collector when it comes to my favourite video game series there's a good chance I'll pick it up if I can find it for a good price.

The only game I'm sure to get is NBA 2k9. I might get SvR '09 and Madden 09 also, just all depending on how I enjoy the demos.

I think i wanna get the new Blitz game when it comes out. the ps2 version was kinda fun and i cant wait to see how they improved on it.
