..yea looks good..if you like bone shattering and what appears to be a great reprisentation of professional UFC mixed martial arts combat with great graphics. I'm not fond of those things though.

of those things, i am very fond. looks like i have a fighting sim to look forward to... other than fight night round 3, which i still play on occasion.

Camera shake is a big thumbs down, and it's very similar looking to SvR. Hopefully they are able to somewhat faithfully recreate MMA with this one instead of the standard punch-punch-punch-punch-submission of the past. (Pride FC etc.)

It's the same developer team that makes the SD vs RAW series but this time they start everything from scratch and nothing from SD vs Raw is used in this one.. Theres no HUD and 1 punch KO could happen which is great!

I. cannot. wait. this better have online multi-player modes. i just saw a sports science show on FSN.

on this show it stated that the human head can absorb 1400 psi before fracture, rouhly the same as a coconut.

Rampage's punching power was measured at 1900 lbs of pressure per square inch. or 1900 psi. now, if you have seen Rocky 4... you know that an average punch from Ivan Drago's character is supposed to be 1850 psi. heavyweight boxer chris byrd's punch was also measured on the show at 1300 psi, but he wore boxing gloves, not mma gloves. still, what that says is that rampage is one nasty S.O.B., however, most any mma fan will tell you, Chuck Liddell punches even harder. he lost his last fight with Rampage because Rampage had better timing. he got caught. it happens.

also when Rampage picked up and slammed a crash test dummy loaded with sensors, he registered a HIC (head injury criteria) rating about 4 times higher than a 35 mile per hour head-on crash.

i'd like to see how hard his kicks are.

this guy can kill you, and he is only a 205 lb "light"heavyweight.

i would like to see all mma fighters get tested in this way before the final build of this game is done. then all the fighters respective punching power would be reflected accuratlly.

Looking forward to the game. Probably getting a console then. That model of Jardine sucks ass though. Hope they fix that. Wish they put some of the WEC guys like Torres and Faber but that won't be happening. A CAP option would be nice.

The full roster has been revealed. I don't know many, but Couture is the only UFC fighter I'm suprised they didn't include.
Still, 82 fighters sounds very nice, this should be fun.

GameSpot: Your just-announced roster for UFC 2009 Undisputed features more than 80 fighters, which is obviously a massive list. Can you take us through the process of choosing who made it in to the game and who got left off?

John Edwards: Who and who did not make it onto the final roster for UFC 2009 Undisputed was a collaborative effort between the development team here at THQ and the UFC. One of the best parts about working on this project is the great relationship we have forged with Dana White, Joe Silva, Don Gold and everyone else over at the UFC. Being able to draw upon their knowledge of who was going to be joining or leaving the UFC in the future, or who the new exciting prospects were before anything had been announced to the public, allowed us to create not only a roster of who we personally wanted to see as fans, but also represent who would be the most relevant by the time the game was released... We have a great batch of fighters like Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, Georges St-Pierre and BJ Penn who are hot today, but we felt it was equally important to feature fighters who we think will be hot tomorrow.

Glad to see them also thinking about whos going to be big in the UFC out of the newcomers.

Anywhoo, can't fucking wait.

There will be a demo coming out on the 23rd this month (which is like 3 days away!!?!111!11!!?!!)

Heard that the Striking is nothing new which I expect already but the ground game is pretty good which is pretty much what's been lacking in previous MMA games.

Little demo review and videos by pasta, damn I so want this game!
