Oscar Nominees

is the academy on crack or am i just that out of it with movies lately? Check out the list of nominees and then tell me a few things:

1. Do we really need 3 songs from 1 movie nominated for the same award even though i can name 3 musicals from this past year (sweeney todd, Hairspray, Across the Universe)...
2. No nod for the Simpsons movie yet Surf's Up gets one?
3. Little if any recognition of American Gangster?
4. Is Juno really that good? havent gotten a chance to see it.
5. Of the best picture nods i've only heard of 3 and seen none...thats quite the problem if you ask me.

OK enough outta me...

The Simpsons Movie was trash though...although Surf's Up probably was too...

Not like the Oscars even matter, they're like the NBA Awards...

was dragged to surfs up by a friend who has an unhealthy things for cute penguins, it was much much worse than the simpsons movie...

I really hope There Will Be Blood wins Best Picture, or at least No Country For Old Men. Judging by their terrible choices in the past, they will probably pick that piece of shit Atonement. They gave CRASH Best Picture, and ever since then, I've felt the same way about them as Benji.

Those may be good movies, but the true best movie of the year didn't even get a nomination.
