Gateway Computers

Hi guys I plan to buy a gateway laptop what are your comments on this laptop?

theres a wide variety of gateway laptops, some specs would make it easier to say

I remember when Gateway and Dell were one of the top machines to buy, but this was back in 1999 or something. One thing you gotta love is the box.

As for now, I have no clue how good they are. I wish I could say they're at the top like Dell is now, but check out reviews on the 'net, and it'll give you a better indication of how reliable they are.

Just a reminder, don't get a HP because the machine gets warm pretty fast. I had a HP 3 years ago, and recently I just bought another HP. Both had the problem and I have no idea why I chose HP.

I think HP is the world's largest computer manufacturer (over Dell) right now, but I still haven't heard good things about their computer, though.

get a dell, im going to be buying a laptop soon and theyre the way to go now days

well my budget is quite limited i saw this gateway laptop that sell for 799 and it comes with a 17 inch screen and 250 gigs of hd space. that for me is a best buy.
