Anyone play? I've been playing Party Poker. In the space of 36 minutes I went from 4,000 chips to 1,250,000 lol. If it was real money I'd buy you all.
So, anyone want a game?

Does Video Strip Poker count?

Only if it comes with a link.

I've had my run with online poker. I'm a little skeptical with the authenticity of the game at this point. There have been reports of sites setting up computer controlled players to get their money back. People would go around the table and ask "are you human?"

I play Full Tilt Poker. Anybody else play Full Tilt Poker?

My mom plays pokerstars.

It's actually a User-vs-Computer-application. Anyway, Google is your friend.
And yes, Cy, I used to play Full Tilt Poker, but I'm not exactly good at poker and I get tired of losing easily, lol.

I used to play Full Tilt all the time, but I don't have the program anymore. I think I'll have to re-download it.
Do you play fake chips or for real money?

Joe: It's really patience and persistence that rakes in the big money in the long haul.
That being said, Indy, I don't gamble (but I play), so I play with fake chips.

You'd think so, but in my case it's been the exact opposite. I spent hours and hours playing it in the past, the most I'd ever accumulated was around 20,000. Now after one night I've got 1.4 million

I'd say 5 straight hours is considered the long haul if that's what you mean

All poker sites are free, and you don't have to be 18 to join any of them.

Really? I thought there was an age restriction since poker is considered gambling (to some). I remember for one, I was asked to give a credit card information to register, so I didn't bother and eventually found Full Tilt Poker.

Not if the card is in your name. You don't think they check to make sure the DOB you provide matches the DOB on the cardholder?
Back when I was 16-17 I tried getting into online poker several ways, and it just wasn't possible. One of my buddies was (kind of) successful. He made an account without giving credit card info and whatnot, and used a fake DOB. Then somebody who was 18+ and had a real money account transferred $50 into his account, and he was able to play. However, after about a couple of days, the site (I believe it was PartyPoker) requested him to show proof that he was who he said he was and was 18+ and he could not do it, so they terminated his account and wiped out all the money in it. He was up to like $200 too, heh.
Nowadays I don't play anymore - it really does seem rigged to me as well. I had my stints with PartyPoker for a while, then Bodog (which I was extremely successful on) and just recently I tried Ultimate Bet for a little while. I got owned on there. I can't tell you how many times I witnessed AA go up against KK on Ultimate Bet. In real life, in 5-6 years of playing poker, I've only seen AA vs KK two or three times - on Ultimate Bet, it happened AT LEAST twice at every table I'd play at. It was simply unbelievable. In fact, the hand that I lost the rest of my money on was when I had KK, someone else had QQ, and someone else had AA. The AA guy took both of us all-in and easily wiped the floor. It's so unrealistic!

I don't think there is any restriction, and if there was it would be 21 not 18 because that is the legal gambling age.

I used to play Poker Stars, isnt that the one that joey sashim or whatever says it's good to play.

Just two examples...
Pokerstars.com wrote:1.2. The Software is licensed to you by PokerStars for your private personal use. Please note that the Software is not for use by (i) individuals under 18 years of age, (ii) individuals under the legal age of majority in their jurisdiction
FullTiltPoker.com wrote:2. Age and Limitations on Use. You must be at least 18 years of age, or older than 18 years of age in those jurisdictions, territories, and locations where the minimum age for permissible use of the Web Site by you is greater than 18 years old.
Also, the legal gambling age is different depending on where you go. For instance, there are a couple of casinos in downtown Detroit that require you to be 21+ to gamble, but Soaring Eagle Casino 3 hours northwest of Detroit only requires you to be 18 or older. Also, at Casino Windsor in Canada, you only have to be 19.
BTW, it's Joe Hachem, Jugs

All three WSOP main event winners from 2003-2005 were sponsored by Pokerstars.
