Well boys I need your help with my computer problem.
I'm not sure what happend or what caused it really, but the thing is I can't hear a sound from my speakers anymore . Since I know they work perfectly, because I plugged them into my mp4 and I could hear the music . I'm pretty much stumped and I have no idea what to do, so I ask for your help.
I know there are a lot of tech guys around here , so hopefully one of you would know how to solve this issue.

Maybe you accidently turned off your volume control? That happened to me once. And make sure the plug to the computer hasn't fallen out.

Those were actually the two first things I did, but no luck.
Even tried googling it, no luck either .

Since the speakers actually work, the problem is your computer. I'm no expert but it's likely your sound card is broken.
It could also be the jack input.

wat sound card do you have? maybe try reinstalling the drivers

Try update sound drivers / reinstalling them, definitely something wrong with sound card if headphones are working.

Yup, most likely a sound card driver issue.
Check your device manager to see if Windows doesn't detect something wrong about the sound device.

I tried new drivers and it still doesn't work. The device manager says there is nothing wrong with it.
Well I did work with an mp3 editor called EXPStudio Audio Editor when the sound went quiet. Could that cause the problem or something ? Also if anyone uses the program let me know.

Try checking the volume control panel again. There are lots of controls there, turn all of it all the way up.
It could also be the software as you suspected, check the settings/options/preferences of it.

Finally fixed it.
The program corrupted the volume control somehow, but it seems its fixed now when I removed it. Stupid free audio editor

For a good (and free) audio editing software program, try Audacity. Works great for me, and with 3 years of use on a few different machines, I havent gotten any troubles from it at all.

Sweet , I'll check it out. Thanks for the link.
At least I'll think twice now before I type " free audio editor " in google .

No prob man, glad to help.
In other to export files to Mp3 you have to download the lame_enc.dll (or something like that) and link to it from within the program. Its quite simple really, dont let my horrible explanation skills scare you off, lol.
