It's a possibility, but keep in mind OS X is based on Unix, while Windows has their own system. I think there's been only one OS X virus to date, and that one was harmless.
Personally I just don't like Mac's because they feel almost like glorified video game consoles. They seem fairly restrictive in how much the user can customize/change things, and I'm not so fond of that

I hate doing work on a particular software and not being able to access it with another computer. It increases the workload, for which Macs are popularly known to lessen?
Not everyone uses their computer for movie editing or anything graphics related.
