Photos onto DVD

Hi there,

i was wondering if anyone could help me, ive got some photos of a holiday when i went to new york, does anybody know of any free programmes for copying photos to a dvd in different styles like fading in and out sliding in and out etc.

Maybe use movie maker and then burn the movie onto a DVD......

but you need to have service pack 2 of xp so the movie maker you have transitions and effects, or you can use powerpoint and put your pics ther and put effects and transitions, then burn (you need to have a dvd writer) the .ppt file with nero or other software like it.
