72 Bands.

Postby Dean on Wed Feb 14, 2007 6:41 pm

I found this today on another forum, and thought it was pretty sweet..
You've probably all seen it before, but for those who havent ill post it.
Its a picture thats supposed to contain the hidden names of bands..
It doesnt actually say the band name, but instead a picture that is supposed to represent them.. Eg, the matches on the road spelling out 20 is Matchbox 20.. Theres supposed to be 72 in here..

Image

These are the ones i've found so far:
Matchbox 20
Rolling Stones
Guns N Roses
Spoon
Dead Kennedys
Scissor Sisters
Smashing Pumpkins
Crowded House
Gorillaz
Iron Maiden
Twisted Sister
Garbage
Madonna
White Zombie
White Snake
The Eels
I think the 2 guys with the surfboards are the Beach Boys
I think the purple wall is Deep Purple
The Eagles
Seal
The Angels
Screaming Jets (maybe the planes?)
U2
Blind Melon (watermelon with glasses?)

I thought it was already on the list. It was that obvious that I overlooked it not being on the list.

I would have to say my favorite is Green Day.

Oh and the coin is a half dollar, so it is 50 Cent, not Nickleback

I would say the planes could be Jefferson Airplane maybe, it would go with the rest of the old-ish bands.

The plane's, I believe, are the B-52's, just as those at BighOrt's forum suggested.

Yeah, they cut the Pet Shop Boys and The Pixies. I'm kinda surprised none of you guys mentioned Kiss or the Bee Gees, which are some of the first I found.

I think the girl and the two dudes in the right corner could be either Jane's Addiction or R.E.M. (Losing My Religion reference) and I'm also pretty sure the M&M's is Eminem and the girl with the chewing gum is Blondie.
Dear Old World, you represent everything that's wrong...

I don't think anyone mentioned Seal, The Black Crowes, or the Postal Service.
