Gears of War - defeating RAAM

Hey guys who have GoW its an awesome game but ive hit a wall. I have to kill RAAM the big boss and im finding it quite hard to do. So if anyone has got any tips on how to beat him, im all ears.

for me, you know when you first come out of the train, in front of you theres a rock! i just stood there and used around 500 rounds of ammo on him and he dropped! staying behind that rock is good because its got lights so bats cant get to you!

The torque bow is your friend.
I've done it on insane... it can get, well, insane... try using the blind fire method with the torque bow. Just charge it up then pop up and aim so it sticks. Then gun the crap out of him with the lancer.

I managed to defeat him by running directly at him and taking cover on the right hand side block. RAAM came up to the rock then he just stayed there and i kept throwing grenades into this little wall and it got rid of the krill then i just blasted him with the lance over the top of the block, too about 5 mins to kill him with this method.

Thanks for all your help tho guys. Who else was a little dissapointed with the ending? i was expecting one huge cutscene but it was not to bad i spose. Cant wait for number 2.

yeah i was dissapointed with the ending...i was hoping for a 10 min long exciting movie but...i was like errrrrrrrrrr but yeah like you said....there will be number 2 so all good for me

Yeah it looks promising. Whats everyone's theory on how these aliens got there, its obvious to me that humans have inhabited this planet and the locust have been living in mines underground, maybe they were in a big war or something and resorted underground to build numbers so no humans saw them when they got there. They could make an awesome story out of it tho.
