Ariel Santarelli's Game Photographer is BOGUS

Postby f.t.w. on Mon Mar 03, 2003 3:37 am

i went to check out this tool that is posted in the 2003 download center. i got hit by a barrage of pop-up windows. one of them couldn't be closed and when I clicked on what I thought was an 'x' i got an icon on my taskbar that won't go away. now everytime i get online i have a windows popping up every 5 minutes and I can't get that icon off of my taskbar.

i think Ariel Santarelli should be banned from NLSC and that his bogus link should be deleted. i couldn't even download his stupid game photographer, and now I have this damned 'Scratch and Win' shit permanently attached to my computer. I'm pissed.

I finally found the exe in my Windows folder, deleted it and erased all of my cookies and temporary internet files. NOW i don't have the pop-up nightmare or the taskbar icon. but still, what kind of crap is that? he should be held accountable for this.

My apologies, I was not aware of this problem. I will remove the link as soon as possible (can't now as I only have time to quickly check the forum before work), but in the mean time, nobody download this file. :?

The file has been removed. Again, my apologies to everyone who tried to download the file and encountered those problems, I was unaware of the situation.
