A protest song against feminism? Isn't that what 90% of rap is these days?

Rap song is good, but other types of songs are good too. Beatles could do, but I am not sure which song is about what, because I was never around at that time, and I need a song that is about anti-racism or anti-feminism. What I mean is not the usualy rap songs, "I fuck yo bitch and sell crack and blah blah blah...."

Hipn, check out Public Enemy or NWA...they have alot of antiracism. That tupac song btw is not anti feministic. If you look at the lyrics its very truly feminist, which tupac always was aside from the "chickenhead" and "golddiggers" that he often attacked in his songs.

That doesn't make sense. You're looking for something that doesn't disrespect race but disrespect women?

That's what I was trying to clafiry too... if you want anti-feminism, there's literally hundreds of rap songs calling women bitches and hos, etc. that fit the bill...

Yea, I dunno if you're trying to support rap or rip it.

But for anti-political I was thinking of Mosh by Eminem.

I'd be worried if this is for a homework assignment. There'd be so many contradictions :shake:

Sorry, I didn't mean putting women down. I meant the other one, where you support women. Sorry for the mix up :x

Also, I am not doing this to rip rap, but I am just looking for a piece of music that is basically a protest song of some sort. One that has meaning and is talking about problems in the world and that mentions something about doing something to change what is going on for a better world or w/e.

Again, sorry for the mix up.

NWA-Fight The Power...and almost anything Public Enemy made fits that description hipn. There's also 2pac-Changes (pretty standard).....i could find more if you need em but those should be good. Avoid Eminem; he's not as powerful as he thinks.

Maybe you won't wanna go this route cause of the artist, but there's a song by Michael Jackson called 'Heal the World'... here's the lyrics to the chorus:

Heal the world
Make it a better place
For you and for me and the entire human race
There are people dying
If you care enough for the living
Make a better place for
You and for me.

Sounds like it fits your needs. There's also that remake of "What's Going On?" that came out shortly after 9/11, or the original by Marvin Gaye himself.

The Power of Equality by the Red Hot Chili Peppers might be the song that you're looking for.

some one may have explained this already, but anti-feminism would be anti-womens rights, i.e. against women's suffrage (right to vote).

I have no use personally for Feminists (too often on their soapboxes) but generally, Feminism is good, Racism is bad...

edit: sorry... I just saw the post 2 up from mine... You could always go with Imagine by John Lennon... not a protest song, but positive message nonetheless...
The task of the artist is to translate for us the essence of things we take for granted.

I'm pretty sure NWA never did a song called "Fight The Power", and that you are in fact thinking of the amazing Public Enemy song called "Fight The Power".

Anyways, something by Public Enemy or dead prez is what you want. By the former there is "Fight the Power", "Black Steel in the Hour of Chaos", and 'Bring The Noise". For the latter you have tracks like "I'm A African", "We Want Freedom", and many others on their classic album Let's Get Free.

Dead Prez deliver quite a few racist lines so I think this is not what you want.

I think one of the best rap groups out there for this would be GFE. They have all sorts of songs professing there views on a lot of different issues.
