You see plenty of flashes going off when you watch NBA games (especially if it's an important/special game, and there are some big NBA stars in the house), so I'd say you would have no problems. I don't think they allow video cameras, but photographs are fine.

Andrew, I think you're right in your assement. However, when I went to a game last week some guy was videotaping the entire thing even though I'm pretty sure you're not allowed.

It definetly is at the cinema, thats how people download movies off the internet before they've been released to video isn't it?

You can Take Pic but not video cams...Funny when I was at a game between Philly & Miami a guy about 5 rows up from me was video capturing the game and was caught and had the camera confiscated.

Yeah, most people can find ways of breaking rules without being caught, kind of like those people you mentioned, who film movies at the theatre then make money from it.

Speaking of which...

isnt that like pirating or something??

I believe bootlegging is the "official" term. Basically the same thing as piracy, though you're not directly copying from the media (such as copying from VHS tape to another VHS tape), so the process is a little more human-involved and the quality probably wouldn't be as good, but some people obviously make money with that kind of business.

Speaking of illegal copies...who has Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers on DVD? I do...ohhhhh yeah....

Anyway, cameras are good to go, they don't care about 'em. I saw gobs of people taking pictures and what not last Friday at the TWolves-Pistons games...

Thanks fellas--I got shitty seats but atleast i'll be able to tell my kids, I saw MJ--but not in his prime--but it's still valid.

the digital camera is coming!

OK, another question, how about moving up? I know in some games there are a lot of empty seats usually around the 4th quarter--have any of you guys ever snuck up and sat in some real good seats? I would see games or highlights on TV and be like"damn, people can just move up"--especailly in some Atlant Hawks games.
