I've had a good time here over the years and met alot of good people, to think that I was like 13 or 14 when I joined the NLSC and now I'm 21 is just bizarre to me. I never thought I'd stay here for so long nor did I'd end up moderating at any stage but I guess things never work out the way you assume they will. I've had alot of fights but also had alot of great discussions, I've also pissed alot of people off and for that I'll never apologise. Anyways I guess I should do some "shout outs" or something.
Matthew - With the way we started out here God knows how we ended up friends but it just seemed to happen. Despite the arguments we've had few and far between, you've always been the most loyal person to me at the NLSC and for that I'm grateful. About our new little project, I'll have a talk to you about that later and we'll work something out.
Andrew - I know we were talking about this earlier, I had some more time to think and made the decision. I would've told you first but not everyone is like me and never sleeps lol. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to moderate a forum I grew so fond of, you do a very stable and professional job here and I'm pretty sure everyone recognises and appreciates it.
Jowe - The funniest guy on my MSN list by far, even though you're an emo these days. It's a shame you don't post more, this place could really use someone like you but then again you are an emo with a job lol so I guess that's not as easy to do as it is for me. It comforts me to know that as long as you're a mod, ][]]ragon will struggle to have his own patching thread
Nick - I can't really have one without the other, but you're pretty cool to talk to about life related things... well mostly girls, and by girls I mean the ones you don't want around but continue to screw anyways
you'll learn one day I'm sure. Good luck with the music thing, if that doesn't work at least you'll always have your MySpace addiction.

You guys made things easier for me, it's nice to be able to come here and read a legible post every now and then.
Since there'll be a moderator vacancy (we have a replacement for Matthew lined up already) I'd like to suggest that anyone who wants the job contact Andrew, or make a thread about it in NLSC Issues. I'd recommend people myself but most of them don't post regularly, so it's fairly pointless.
Since you're so curious, my replacement list for General Talk alone would be (in no particular order): BigKaboom, Peachy, Cyanide, Donatello, Nick, Mentally Hilarious, Indy. I have my reasons for each of them, if you disagree I could really care less
I'm tempted to rip into a few people but I won't. There's no point, it's just a message board. I'm assuming most of you are as retarded as you are for a reason, so I'm just gonna assume that you've already been punished enough.
This isn't another one of those retire then come back next week deals... when I make a decision I stick with it (apart from my first retirement, like 4 years ago but I was younger then so fuck off). I'm posting this in General Talk because it's the place I spent the most time, so I figured it was the most appropriate. I hope this site continues and grows in time, part of me isn't too optimistic about it but I'm hopeful all the same... between EA's inferior product and the fact that the morons will now have a chance to take over the asylum who knows, I'm sure Andrew will keep everything in check though. Good luck guys, look after this place or I'll hunt you all down one by one.

It's sad to see one of the most visible posters take off, but like you said, it's just an internet forum.
I don't really know what to say right now as this came as a complete surprise to me. The only thing I can think of is that this is a huge loss, not only for this site to loose such a great moderator, but for the entire community to loose such a great person. Sad, sad, sad, sad, sad, pretty much sums it up.
