This is a Fifa 06 "World Cup 2010 dynasty". I would've used my Fifa World Cup 2006 game, but it didn't want to start, so I just went with Fifa 06 and made a new tournament. Hopefully it will run smooth.

Oh and btw, I'm playing this on PS2.

No Iran? They're better, or as good as than half the teams listed. :x Good luck with this.

I'm surprised you included China and Australia in front of Japan and South Korea...

 we obviously have some "real" fans here... Australia is better than Japan + South Korea, Wales is a decent team. No one's noticed that Germany aren't in there at all?

This is played on Fifa 06, so obviously not all the teams are in the game + I just randomized the other teams, so if I missed out some countries that should've been in there (like Germany) then I apologize.

Anyway onto the first match.

Portugal came in favourites for this game, but it wasn't as easy as the scoreline shows.

Even though Portugal struck first in the 6th minute and then the 12th minute showing their superb goal scoring attack, the Scottish were graced with numerous oppurtunities to strike back and they finally did when Fletcher hit the back of the net in the 49th minute off of a set piece.

It wasn't until the 84th minute that the Portugese could say that they had the match, when Deco made a break from the halfway line and dribbled it all the way to safely slot it home.

"Scotland provided us with a tough match, but we knew that we could do it." Pauleta of Portugal said. "On a few occassions, I thought that they would level it up and we would only get the point, but luckily Deco was there for us and provided us with the goal to secure us 3 points."

Portugal's next opponent is Russia, who played out a 1-1 draw against Romania.

You will see during the Asia Games, whenever they come. I'm not bagging on Asutralia or anything but I seriosuly don't think we are that much better than Japan and South Korea. And yes, since Asia has 4 spots (?) for the WC, Japan, South Korea, Australia and someone else will get them. I can't remember if its 3.5 or 4.5 spots.

Wtf? How can there be .5 spots? Does that mean the country who qualifies in the last slot only sends 1/2 their team  anyways I disagree with everything else you said, you know nothing. Who scored for Scotland btw?

half a spot means teams play in a playoff... I think its one African team plays an Asian team to see who makes the World Cup. Hence the half spot.

EDIT: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FIFA_World ... lification <-- Check that out. I think you don't know as much as you think you do Mr Hutton (EDIT: Huton).

EDIT2: And seriously, I don't know who scored for Scotland. At least I can admit I don't know.

Glad to see Bulgaria...we have a nice and strong team, so we could really qualify for 2010, and don't underestimate us, we were 4th in USA 1994 :)

If you're going to say something like that at least spell my name properly. You're the one claiming Japan and South Korea are just as good as an Australian team who was 1 dodgy penalty away from possibly beating the eventual World Champions Italy. Anyways you're ruining Srbija's thread, I was asking him who scored for Scotland, not you genius.

Jae, Fletcher scored for them. Forgot to add that to the recap, but it's fixed now.

Portugal were confident coming into this match whereas Russia, who had a drawn the previous match against Romania, were not as confident and it showed on the pitch when Pauleta grabbed another early goal in the 14th minute off of a Cristiano Ronaldo cross.

Russia had a few good chances, but when Smertin got sent off in the 40th minute for a reckless tackle, things just went from bad to worse as Portugal came out firing in the second half and within 10 minutes they had two goals, one was an own goal with the ball bouncing off Sennikov's body after a header from Carvalho and the second was a brilliant individual effort from Cristiano Ronaldo that started at half way.

In the 67th minute, Pauleta's driving shot opened up another oppurtunity for C. Ronaldo who safely tucked in the rebound.

The last goal for Portugal came in the 87th minute with Maniches' bullet shot from outside the box. Russia responded with a goal from Sytchev because of a mix up in the defence, but that was nothing more than a consolation goal.

Cristiano Ronaldo's two goals and one assist gave him the MOM.

"I feel like I, and the team, played very good today and I am very happy to pick up 2 goals." Cristiano said about his, and the teams, performance. "We will now have to concentrate on the next game against Romania."

Portugal's next opponent is Romania, who lost to Scotland 3-1.
