There should be a 90-day warranty. A friend of mine broke the LCD screen of his Nano and he just called Apple and since it was in its warranty-period they had to give him a new iPod. He had to pay something like €40 for the support though.

I've found some reviews, and according to this review, the Nano is quite durable.![]()
But yeah, after using the Nano today, I do notice that the battery drains pretty fast considering how I've gotten used to my old mp3 player (a PSP, god that thing was like fitting an elephant into your pocket). But overall, I actually like how it's working right now
i odn`t know, how long the PSP holds, but with time the nano batterey will hold longer, after few charges
