Do the Air Alert III workout, you'll jump 5-15 inches more. I've done it, I jump 8 inches more now. I'm 5'10" and I can touch the rim now.
It requires time and effort too, so basically it's like the jumping soles, but without them.
It takes something like 8 weeks to complete the workout but if you follow the instructions you'll jump higher surely. Good luck.

I did Air Alert too, but I didn't finish the entire thing... Did it up til 4th week only. But it really helped not only my vertical leap, but also quickness and speed...I recommend it.
