I have a Creative Zen Micro, and I think they are better than Ipod Mini's.

My sister fucked up my Ipod mini and now she gave me money to buy a new MP3 player... I like Creative players because they have better sound quality than Ipod's.

It never freezes up my computer, and it plays whatever video you want as long as you convert it to MP4 format, and I just used 3GP converter to convert any format to MP4.

You can't compare this thing to ipod considering they are for two different budgets. It would have to better for all that extra cash. I dunno about you people...but i dont think it's worth the extra cash.

Seriously, I feel like all Apple products are insanely overpriced. I look at their computers and thats a hell of alot to pay for something that most shit doesnt work on. I might be saying this in ignorance because I'm not a cult follower like some others.

Agreed. I've seen people buy a 512mb Ipod Shuffle (now, and also when it first came out) just to say they own a fucking Ipod :roll:

. Its ridiculous, paying $200 Canadian for a MP3 player that has no freakin display. So it has a shuffle option...WTF, basically ALL other mp3 players ALSO have a fucking shuffle function. You can get a better 512mb or 1gig mp3 player with that same $200.

On a side note, I own a Hi-MD player (Mini-disc). It was a fad for a while, but now not many people use it. Suits me, cost only about $175-$200 Canadian. Sure I could get a 1gig mp3 player with that amount, but I have more than 1 gig, so the disc (their fairly small) switching allows me to not have to decide which song to delete to make room for another song.

for the most part, Creative is a good alternative to Apple iPod, but in this case, I guess it ain't worth it.

EDIT: seeing that he lives in Toronto, this is obviously Canadian Dollars which makes sense... I looked up the price of the player and it's EXACTLY the same price at retailers as the Apple 30GB iPod... $299 USD. I take back what I said above.
