BBC interviews the wrong "expert"

Thu May 18, 2006 6:15 pm

I'm not sure when this happened but seems like pretty recently.

They were supposed to interview a reporter named Guy Kewney that had been following the Apple VS Apple case but instead got Guy Goma, a man who was just waiting for a job interview at BBC!

Watch the video, the first expressions on his face are priceless, but as the smooth operator he is, manages to spit something related to the story  obvously he doesn't know anything about the subject! How embarrasing for everybody.

Now the funny part is that Guy Goma has become some celebrity, he has been asked to numerous newspapers and tv shows. He has already commented on Saddam Hussein, David Beckham and all kinds of things in a newspaper.

The BBC did this, I'd expect it from free to air TV but a station as famous as the BBC actually made a fool out of themselves. The guy didnt seem to be able to speak english, skilled migrant?

Certainly a big boost to his career (y)
