Britian's Youngest Mother

A girl is to become Britain's youngest mother after becoming pregnant at 11.

The girl smokes 20 cigarettes a day despite being eight months' pregnant. She conceived aged 11 when she lost her virginity to a boy of 15 on a drunken night out with friends.

The 15-year-old has since been charged with rape by police, and is due to appear again at Edinburgh sheriff court on July 10.

Her 34-year-old mother, who gave birth to her youngest child eight months ago, said she was 'proud' of her daughter.

The girl, who has shoulder-length dark hair, began smoking at nine and started drinking tonic wine and vodka cocktails at ten. She claimed her cigarette habit was not harming the health of her unborn child.

She said: "I can give up smoking at any time, but I don't find it affects my pregnancy."

There's no way any competent jury would convict him of rape... this girl's record speaks for itself - smoking and drinking at such a young age prove she is very capable of committing wrongful acts at a young age...

Young girls seem to get away with a lot though. I live in a really small town, and one of the few murders ever was committed a few years ago... a girl that went to my school killed her mother... shot her twice, and cut her throat. Only got 17 years of jail time.

I'm not sure but Ithink they can charge you with rape regardless of whether or not the girl accuses him of it. If shes underage I believe thats almost automatic. Not sure though, I'll check it out.

Anyone who's been to England will know, if you walk around any major city you'll see all sorts of girls who are around 16, 17 strolling the streets with baby prams. It's disturbing, they all try and get laid as soon as they turn 13. You can't go out without some group of 14 year olds in mini skirts trying to get you to help them buy grog or get into a club
