Bit of a disjointed round with a couple of forfeits, hopefully that won't be the case leading up to the final round.

It's that simple. Try to get the votes in as quickly as you can so we can move on to next round.

I'm checking these out on a crappy school monitor that is really dark. I can't see any of the orange in the background of mine for example, at it's lightest it's very dark brown. So just in case you'[ve got a dark monitor I'll post a bright version of mine so you can see it. Either way I'm sending in actual votes until I can really see what I'm looking for. This is what I can gather.

CK's is nice, good idea, but the Portland jersey just looks off, and should have some of the stripes. But it's not a big deal.

Overall I like Cy's best. He's great with the font and the placement of the players.

Jae, looks nice, but I don't think the brush on the jersey in the bg works well. Looks like a black fractal?

Peachy, the background is flat and uninteresting. And you got the lighting wrong. I'd say nice effects on Smush, but I happen to know that the stock you used from Slam already has very nice effects. But nice choice on the picture.

Axel, little slump? Not enough time. It's not ugly or anything, just underwhelming.

Cable Guy, good except for the font placement. Kind of floating a little higher than I thought it should be.

Remy, good colouring, and very nice text and text effects. It works great with the style. A little more variance in the yellows would be nice.

Once again, may be influenced by a crappy monitor. Sorry.

edit: back at home, can't find Diaw-sig .psd, not going to bother with a brighter one. And basically all my comments stay the same, except that I noticed that Peachy's background seems low quality and kind of blurry.

Didn't like Axel's too much, Matrix font in orange and just a pic of Marion, could've been a tad more complicated.

Sorry if that came off as being a prick, that really wasn't what I was going for.

And one more thing, this version of my sig down below showed up how I wanted it to look on a darker monitor. That's a tip to remember for next time, check something that's very dark or light on different monitors. So thanks for letting me know.

I think that match up of the week was Colin/Peachy. Both were good, but I liked Colin's better because it appeared to incorporate more design elements than Peachy's... but visually, both were great.

Cable Guy - I like yours a lot, but I think the white cloud sort of detracts... maybe find something else to add to it other than that. Regardless i still voted for yours b/c I thought TBD's was too 'busy'.

I'm typing in from NYC just to quickly say that I think Peachy has the best one just by aesthetics and composition alone. I don't know why CK got so many votes, no offense, but it's not an exciting looking image. I think it's just the jersey changes that garnered so many votes.
