Tommy Smith with a....!?!?!

Ok, thought it would be good if someone could set this straight, for once. I have been watching ESPN for years, every dd break that Tommy Smith's soccer show advertisement is televised. What the heck does he say? 'Im Tommy Smith for a why' or something

He says im Tommy Smyth with a 'Y', refering to how his surname is spelt SMYTH as apposed to Smith.
