When you think of heaven...

...what do you see? White clouds, people dress in white flying around with wings, a gigantic big fat dude with a long white beard dressed in white sitting on a bigo chair, and of course, our savior, Christ....or somthing else?

The question I ask is do you really want to spend eternity in such a place? I mean, it doesn't look like much to do there :lol:

But if there is a heaven, I think we'll like.

When the word heaven pops into my head, I think of the word non-existance. I relate heaven to that word. It's not the idea of non exsistance I relate to heaven. Meaning I don't think I won't exsist in heaven, I mean I don't think it exsists, capiche?

I picture that everyone will get new bodies, and we'll be able to look over this life as it's getting played out.

C.S. Lewis reasoned that for humans, time is like a timeline, going from point A to B to C etc. in chronological order. We can't skip ahead, go backwards, whatever. But if you think of the timeline of history as drawn out on a sheet of paper, God looks at the entire sheet of paper at once. There's no past or present, it's just all there, and God can move in & out of "time" whenever & however.

I think it'll be like that for us, too. We'll be able to watch how God's magnificent plan was unfolded through every single event of history, and we'll all have to pick up our jaws off the floor (if we have jaws :lol:

) in amazement :mrgreen:

And another vision of Heaven that I've had- a person is facing away from me, and they just got their new Heavenly body and so many other people are complimenting them, "Oh, you're so beautiful, etc." And then that person slowly turns around, revealing their face to me, and they look exactly the same as when they were on Earth! It's just that now I'm able to really see the beauty there...

I think that's the picture media sends out to the people, so I don't think it's like that.
