I don't know if anyone looks at this anymore. Im not a big sig maker so this probably is a bad thing to say but I was just wondering why the thread is dead so quickly.

People ask for sigs and never get them.

Yeah, I never see anyone complete requests. I'm too busy to make sigs outside of the sig league comp, so I just got my current one off bballcentral. *shrug*

The Gallery of Art thread is open to anyone who needs a sig... there is plenty there.

It's really simple, people just make dumb requests. We're not nbalive744, we won't just make sigs for the sake of it. I mean most requests are like "Can I get a pic of Shaq, LeBron and Ahmad Rashard all wearing 1970's ABA jerseys and have the sig animated thanks". If people ask for something simple, or something remotely interesting people will make it... besides that, if people just want a one player sig or whatever there's plenty of great ones at WCR or bballcentral.

I also noticed that a lot of the people requesting sigs are new to the boards... people will probably be more willing to make them if they know that the sig is going to be used..

Most of the requests are from people with less than 50 posts who want 3 different players in a sig that have completely contrasting jersey colours and a corny tagline.

I don't want to make that shit.

There's one other option, when rip_32 requests a Chauncey sig when he already has a nice one.

Interestingly enough, I was doing a random google search for player pics when I found a basketball forum. He was requesting a Chauncey sig there too... lol.

The one thing i noticed is that people first do there own thread if someone would do them a sig and when that gets locked.Then they post in the sig request thread like they don't see the sticky at first.
