help select a new theme

recently decided to 'finally' make up my own sig/av theme. I have made three basic theme's here and am not quite sure what one ot use. I wanted to go for a simple, 'spacey' retro kind of thing with the pinstripes. Perhaps someone can help me select and maybe comment?

The MJ avatar looks really nice and classy, maybe you should add a black+white border.
But the signatures all look pretty bad imo, they look cheap and too plain.

eh you think so? I was trying to give it that simplistic look, and as i had said the retro feel with the stripes. Main thing i wanted was space. I kept through all of them the simple gradient over everything cept' the character. I dont particularly fancy the penny one. Looks really 'noob'ish, the stripes were far too big and visible, plus...the image wasnt a very good selection.

I don't know, but that didn't work for my eyes.. Simplicity... hmm... Maybe smaller signature size?

I like the Penny one. Cool player, cool picture.
