For the life of me I cant figure this question out, wanna lend a hand?
The question is:
You and your friend decide to race. You start from the the same spot and go the same direction. You accelerate at 5m/s(squared) for 15s up to your maximum speed. You cycle at this speed for another 15s. Your friend accelerates at 6m/s (squared) for 30s. Who was ahead at the end of the 30s and by how much?
I kno my friend will be ahead but how do i figure out the distance travelled?
