Opera House, the Olympic stadium, the Sydney Harbour Bridge Walk...the guys actually down in Sydney could probably give less cliched ideas. ;)

Can't help you there. Furthest south I've been is Tathra down in the Bega Valley.

Melbourne = the 'fashion capital' so I'd do some shopping at Chadstone or whatever.

The Rialto Towers = some tower where you go to the top and then you see the whole of Melbourne.

Melbourne Cricket Ground = location of the 2006 Commonwealth games

Albert Park = Australian Grand Prix

I dont know what else to visit. Visit Geelong :headbang:

Anyone say SCG, see a Football game?
Or you could watch a bunch of white boys hoisting up 3s play after play at the stadium where Sydney Kings (I think they are Kings) play.

yes, they're Sydney Kings.

Geelong is like 90km south of Melbourne. Melbourne is 1000km south of Sydney.

Completely unrelated, but whatever :D

As for things to do in Melbourne... Melb is known for its night life... but you might be a bit young for the streets of St Kilda yet. :cheeky:

Something about me want to go to French and Phillip Island. Little islands near bays like that always seem to be nice. Maybe not here I have no idea. But look into it. Little islands are dope. (Y)

Of course, the greatest city in Australia is two hours north of Sydney. :P

OK, so perhaps I exaggerate. But it is where the head office of the NLSC is located. ;)

There's a cyclone up in Northern Queensland between Townsville and Cairns (pretty big holiday type coastal towns). A lot of damage has been done and they've lost a lot of the banana plantation..
