Not that I've heard much Aussie hip hop... what I have heard I don't like. Our accents suck when used for rap. I probably would go if I lived in Melbourne though, free booze

Hilltop Hoods dont put on accents. Bliss N Eso dont put on accents and Terra Firma doesnt put on accents, and those are practically the biggest acts in Aussie hip-hop. This is coming from a non hip-hop fan.

Let's clear up a few things, I am the mobb leader (just not the Underrated Mag mob)...I get payed cash, as well as getting free albums, concert tickets and opportunities to interview artists.

And I used to hate some of the accents in aus hip hop too, but you get over it and once you do there's really some great artists out there.

And Kilo is from the Melbourne hip hop group Art Of War, he'll be appearing at the launch.

The magazine might be free, but 100% of all revenue magazines make are from sponsors and advertisements, which is probably the crap littered on the bottom right side.

Depends how much I do...this issue I did one review and one interview, so will probably get $30-40.

I'm not doing it for the money anyway. It'll look good on a resume and also if I do decide to do a journalism course at university it'll look even better.

How on Earth do you manage to get $30-$40 out of a free magazine by writing 1 review and 1 interview jesus, people at SLAM and such must be getting like $50,000 per sentence.
