Government, Heath, Scott kennedy, Kevin Trudeau, and Life

I am very concern with my health and my families'. I recently saw informercials about Kevin Trudeau's book: "Natural Cures, They(the government) don't want you to know about." And a an informercial about Scott Kennedy promoting his natural product: "Sea Veg."

I don't know if any of you saw it, but they basically say the same things about how the government just wants to make big bucks by selling more and more drugs. That they don't care about your health. And how everythig is being label as a "diease" just so they can sell more drugs. Trudeau claim that "not 99% of the drugs cause diease, but 100%." He said that they is a "cure for virtually very diease". Cancer, Diabetis, Arteritis...etc. He said the gov. does all their reaserch on "treatments" for dieases, which basically "baby sit" your diease, which means it don't go away. You have to keep taking that DRUG FOR LIFE. In his book, very cure he talk about is all natural: no drugs.

I think its a fact that americans are the most unhealthy people in the world. We are getting fatter, dieases are virtually on the rise, and more people are deing.

Kennedy's "Sea Veg" doesn't claim to cure any mature diease, but say that it does abnormalizes your body and get it back to its healthy state--no american's body is at its healthy state, he claim. And he provide good sopport for his claim. He said the Japanese are the most healthy people on the planet because they consume more sea food, which are what is basically in the product, than anyone else. And that is why they are so smart, and are leading the world in technology. The more healthy you are the smarter you are, it just make sense.

There is so much more I heard from the informercials that I think is true, but I don't have time to mention all fo them.

I haven't bought the book or the "sea veg" product. But I'm hoping to give it a try sometime.

I hate that dumb Natural Cures book. I used to work for a company that takes orders for Kevin's books and I used to cringe whenever I received a call cuz he tries to sell you a million additional things with it. Plus, I have received a million calls from people pissed off about their purchase who cuss me out and want to return the book (mostly old women).

We're unhealthy because we live unhealthy lifestyles. We eat too much, don't get enough exercise and have high stress lives. We don't get enough sleep.

Fact is docters and drugs are bad for you. Do you know the 100 year old lady who are still living and ARE MORE ACTIVE THAN A KID? ^^^I just use one example, becasue if not, i'll have to use all of them out there. like I said, all drugs causes dieases(period). If you saw those commercials; what do you hear? This: "people with this....should not take it......for it may lead to heart diease.....etc."

AIDS would be exceptional, since it is not a diease, and there is no cure. And medicine is the only option (even though those drugs still have side effects, but not as bad as dying, so people prefer to live)

And I don't know why you brough up AIDS and Africa, since AIDS is not a diease, but a virus. And Africa is poor.

How does Viagra kill hundreds of people? I haven't heard of a reported death from Viagra yet. If I did , wouldn't the FDA take the drug off the market?

I disagree here , seeing that there are many "cures accounting to the FDA". If I have a cold , I go out and buy cold medication , and even though I am still sick in the next couple of days I get better and the cold is gone. Did I die of cancer or "disease" because i took the cold medicine? No.

And I'm not a biology or medicine major but when you say drugs cause disease , I find that really hard to believe. A lot of these drugs have side effects which is common , such as impotence , loss of appetite , etc but these side effects are minor , and can't technically be called diseases. Now , if people who took Levitra ended up having lung cancer and died , then you would have a slightly valid point (I say slightly because correlation does not insinuate causation a.k.a. conduct an experiment)

I'm going to have to see much more proof , and several more examples of drugs that you claim cause disease before I can be convinced. If you gave me the choice to live in a world where we had the marvels of modern medicine with pills , or a 3rd world country where these pills are not readily available , I think I'd want to live in the modern medicine world. Wouldn't you?
