Its not funny at all.. the bright colour of the website doesnt' help to.

I closed it roughly 2.634 seconds after i opened it.

Would you believe that this is still a thing in 2019? Only it's now hosted at saynotograndpajoe.com, rather than saynotogrampajoe.com as linked in the original post. Not only that, but there's a subreddit, a Facebook page, and even an in-character Twitter account.

You're not entirely wrong, younger self. I'm not going to pretend that in the thirteen years that have passed, you've come to the realisation that this is in fact brilliant satire. You probably are taking it a bit too seriously though, or perhaps trying a bit too hard to sound grown up, clever, and insightful about comedy. I mean, come on man; you haven't even see Duck Soup or any other Marx Bros movies yet! At least watch them before you go all comedy snob. It's not the funniest joke you'll ever see, but the fact that it's somehow still around after fifteen years is kind of amusing in its own right. Also, considering some of the things that tried to pass themselves off as humour in the years you're about to experience, this is going to seem charmingly quaint.

But yeah, it is kind of silly. I'll grant you that.

I like how 'ratbag' has its own category.

I can’t believe surfing the NLSC lead me down a Grandpa Joe rabbit hole...I just killed two hours at work and it was glorious. Thank you so much for this new information.

Also that website is like a time capsule. Cool to see early 2000s webpages like that.

The passion in the subreddit is almost inspirational.
