March Madness (La Salle Dynasty)|||3-2 Minnesota Recap|Pics

Mon Mar 06, 2006 9:09 am

Ive decided to try something new and do a March Madness dyansty. I thought it would be fun and I hope you enjoy it.

I didn't want to be any body very very very good so I chose the La Salle Explorers. They have Steven Smith and I expect for him to do good.

Game Recap
In a game that La Salle thought they would have to not take seriously, they did. Sacred Heart came ready to play and almost beat the Explorers. Each half the Pioneers stayed with the Explorers, but in the end the Explorers just had more talent. Thanks to Steven Smith, the undeafeated season continues. Somebody for La Salle got hurt as well.

Smith Hurt
Steven Smith, the best player for the Explorers has sustained an injury. He has a strained calf muscle and will likely be gone for 2 weeks. Smith is La Salle's leading scorer (22.0), rebounder (9.0), and is the Senior Leader. This is not a good sign for La Salle because they have three tough games comming up. The games are against Ohio, Memphis, and Minnesota, all which can have a NCAA Top 25 ranking by the end of the year. Hopefully, Smith will be back at least for one of those games.
