Yeah , Julio France the Dominican King!!!!!!! Some say he is actuall older then what he says since immigrants usually lower there age down by a few years

It's relatively usual for baseball players to play into their early 40s, especially position players. And since the incorporation of the DH rule in the AL, that is even more the case.

But in the late 40s... I can only think of one other recent example,
