Well, stats say that after 10 years of active service at the majors, especially playing catcher, you're bound to have been hit by a pitch at least once. Sometimes it's a wild pitch, sometimes it's an intentional beanball *cough* Roger Clemens *cough*.
But the hit by pitch part was a joke, people.
What? That's just weird. I must have missed the part when he gets hit by a pitch; but that's just weird. Do you believe him Dweaver?
well, I've seen, heard and experienced a lot of wacky stuff , so I cannot dismiss everything with a snap of my fingers... but the prudent thing is to take things like these with an extremely small pitch of salt... just to be safe.
The most interesting part in his story is the fact that he mentions that the extra dimensions are so curved that are almost unnoticeable. That is the exact thing described in the newest scientific theory regarding the 'unification of theories' project. ( UNF-Unified Field Theory, the attempt to unify quantum theory and the General theory of Relativity).
The superstring theory or String theory or Alice String theory actually attempts to mathematically unify the otherwise incompatible results of teh two separate thoires by introducing extra dimensions beyond the 4th (Time). And it says that those dimensions do exist, yet they are so curved around themselves that they are unnoticeable.

That is an interesting coincidence. But then again, maybe our friend is just a 'Popular Science' subscriber.
