i saw the replay tonite...

the commentators were saying the guy had his nose broke like nothing before. The "Pacman" had control of the match after round 5 IMO. LOL he is definitely not a "boxer" but definitely a "fighter". the spider man line was hilarious

Always a treat seeing a fellow countryman knockout a mexican

Your filipino ? Shit I didn't know that. Haha.

Ye man ... Morales nose was so fucked up.

He's a Filpino residing in Chi-town I think.

Anyway, didn't get to watch this since I had to go to a prayer thingie for my theology class which was quite boring and a waste of time.

I'm surprised this thread hasn't been flooded with Filipinos yet

Banned, I guess. The mods are doing their job.

Tough break Null, it was good. Morales owed rounds 3-5. He was almost KOed by Pacquiao in the 2nd and 6th. Finally fell down twice in the 10th.

Manny quoting a line from Spider-Man.
His use of English is improving, I was suprised the way he talked during the post-fight interview.

lol i wonder why one of his corner men only speaks english. Half the time Manny probably doesn't understand what he's saying. in the heat of a boxing match, i don't think he should bother trying to translate the fast english into tagalog. it looks like his other corner man is the interpreter hehe

and yes, i'm filipino. surprised? haha

Maybe because you type in coherent sentences.

Sun Jan 29, 2006 11:17 pm

well most educated Filipinos type in coherent sentences.

Most educated Filipino's seem to avoid the NLSC like the plague.

I knew it was coming.
I can also see there happenin' ...

-Rematch with Marco Antonio Barrera
-Rematch with Juan Manuel Marquez

Sat Feb 25, 2006 7:04 pm

they'll fight at 132 (lbs.)

According to reports, the required fight weight will actually be a good bargaining chip for Manny to increase his payment for the fight, since it is the Morales camp that wants the rematch.

There would be a 'Thrilla in Manila 2' featuring Pacquiao together with Villoria (I believe) but I don't know who their opponents are.

It won't be against Morales, it will just be a tune-up match for Pacquiao. Nothing spectacular.
