NLSC slower than usual?

Is the site loading slower than usual for anyone else besides me? I'm wondering if it's because of the changes Andrew's making.

Sometimes, at times it takes so much time to load the forum, I'll get a server can't be found blah blah error.

That's the reason a lot of double posts have been occuring.

its just being gay as hell sometimes wont even post or even load main page.. probably has to do with the updates that are happening?

It doesn't have anything to do with the updates. Observation and research leads me to believe it's a byproduct of heavy traffic. I've noticed it seems to happen a bit after I've released a new roster update or when the forums are really busy.

How about asking the host for a little extra bandwidth? Can't hurt to ask anyway; and if we get it, all the better...

We've already got a generous extension after our one and only flirtation with the bandwidth exceeded error. Anyhow, still observing and researching.

Maybe if we ban some noobs...j/p

Its kinda funny because thats exactly what my employer instructs me to say everytime I get an angry caller on the job.

Shouldn't come as a surprise. I'm a support technician for an ISP here in Newcastle so I do a lot of phone support.

No problem for me.

It does seem to occur in spots. I've noticed it here and there but I not always and fairly infrequently.

No shock no freeze when I visit - everything's alright currently

funnily enough I am able to access NLSC easier at home on dial-up than at work on ADSL....very weird....possibly something to do with traffic....weird nonetheless....

Sometimes when i try to get into the site i have to go via nba-live.com for it to work. unusual that it wouldn't work by typing in the URL but only by clicking the link.

I noticed this problem when going from section to section only ex. from NBA talk to General. Other than that, everything's fine.
