). The fact that Jae has so many posts and has made so many of them on a 56k connection just proves how much he cares about the community and helping out around the site, not to mention his enthusiasm about getting involved in discussions.
Four years ago, I wouldn't have expected to have Jae helping me out with moderating and other elements of the NLSC. We didn't exactly get off to a great start when I took over the site...as a matter of fact we butted heads big time. But fortunately we were able to move past that.
I'm sure many of the vets were happy to see Jae make a comeback last year, myself included. When the idea of Jae being a mod was first brought up I have to admit I was skeptical but in all honesty I feel it was a fantastic idea. I only wish I could claim it as my own.
Again there was a bit of a rocky start as not everyone was keen on the idea but I'm not sure a lot of people were aware of Jae's history with the forum and of his good intentions.
Jae's style of moderating differs from mine but I think that's great. Looking at other forums around the web I've noticed the same contrast amongst forum leaders. I think the mix works, as I said I think Jae does a fantastic job and we should be well past the "How is Jae a mod?" stage by now.
So congratulations and thanks for all the help mate, I hope you'll be around for a while yet. Welcome to the 10000 post club; I feel less alone and slightly less geeky now. Just slightly.
