What do you hate most while playing basketball?

Well , answer the question. I hate (in this order).......

1)Ballhogs (especially the ones that suck yet they still hog the ball)
2)Hackers (People that foul everytime you get close enough to them to reach them)
3)People that bitch when you call a foul (And its a good foul to call , not a bump , but like when they grab you)
4)Teamates that can't play ( they just pass it back to you , or they just catch and throw it up , or they just suck)
5)Being cold (I hate missing alot of shots , even though I'm not an offensive players , I look for my teammates first , thats why teamates that can't play get me mad.)

a fluke shot is a lucky shot I guess.

I also hate those people who always double-dribbles or walks in a pick-up game and gets upset when we call it. YOU TOOK FIVE FUCKING STEPS!

Agreed. Just to add to that...referees with an attitude who want to really control the game, especially the ones that had a set against our team because they clashed with the coaches. Newcastle Basketball really had some poor refs. I also once played against a kid back when I was in the Under 17s who for some reason played a game covered in mud. That team was a bunch of tools.

I was just playing ball in school today, there was a kid who just took a half court shoot every possesion, I yelled at him every position telling him not to take that shot, he took a lot of them, missed em all with airballs, damn it.

Although sometimes I'm a little bit of a dirty player on defense (since my D basically sucks ), I hate when defenders foul intentionally rough, it can lead to serious injuries.

I also hate when people play with their shirt off.

ballhogs and idiots that pull off that and1 shit. me and my buddy usually just trap the person and start hacking away on the ball. some idiots are even stupid enough to pull off this shit 8 feet away from the hoop

1) jamming my finger into the ball (deadballs, its on the ground and i jam my fourth finger into the ball trying to bring it back up, ive done it so many times )
2) getting blocked (its part of the game but its always so humilating since im the shortest guy among my friends and i get blocked the most easily, also doesnt help if you cant jump higher than the guy and take set shots)
3) having a cold shooting night (im ridicuously streaky, if i make my first 2, i could make up to like 7 in a row and finish 9 for 12, but if i miss the first two, i could go 0 for 5)
4) when better teammates do not rotate on defense and im stuck defending two people (and i get blamed for letting one guy go around freely , and once again, remember 97% of the time im the shortest guy on the court)
5) my lack of handles (someone my height is suppose to have great handles but i dont, i need serious work)

2. People who call pu$$y fouls, like a touch foul
3. People calling fouls when there never was one, and continuing to do that
4. People who talk alot of crap on the court
5. Dumb player who take hook shots that never go in, like my friend, it goes in a couple of times 'cause it's fluke, but most of the time its all air.

1.) Refs who think they are the shit

3.) Big guys who CANNOT rebound. The ball always seems to hit their hand and go out of bounds.
4.) Fat point guards
5.) Missed freethrows.

Ballhogs

I hate the guys who take the fun out of the game. Like the guys who compete hard in a laid-back game for fun.

1.Noob teammates.
2.Teammates who doen'st use the pick and roll,or move off the ball.
3.Lame calls.
4.Fluking shots (although i too made some )
5.Cool weather.(i prefer playin wif some warm sun ray)
6.Very very quick players (cuz i'm a tall small foward...sometimes when it comes to switch in D...those quick players kill me...)
