As you said, insane. I wonder how much money did this guy spend. On the lights themselves and the electric bill.

LMFAO, i agree with laxation, greatest christmas lights EVER. wonder how pissed his/her neighbors are at him/her because of the constant flashing of those lights and the loud music.

I wouldn't be able to sleep if that went on all night. One of those days, one of those lightbulbs will pop, catch fire, and burn the house down.

This clip pops up at all of those 'funny' videos-pics-games sites for bored people (which I check out at school :x ).

The song is called "Wizards In Winter" and its by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra

In response to some of the questions already posted: ...A house in my neighborhood has this exact same concept with their Christmas decorations. The lights are programmed using controller boxes made my "Automated Lighting", and there is a central MP3 controller inside the house that runs the lights.
The programs are created manually and are sent to the lights via a local network in the house (EtherNet cable). Anyway, for the music, the music is not played directly from the display. Instead, the system will use a low FM radio frequency (usually somewhere around 88.5) and will broadcast the music on that frequency within the area of the house.
Anyone driving by can tune their car stereo to that station and listen to the music while they watch the display from their cars. The guy in my neighborhood will have about 20 cars on average parked along the street each night. Its amazing to watch when youre right in front of it

thats from the site where it came from
