This is a true American holiday!

There is nothing better than football and turkey! Woot! Woot!

I'll watch football in the afternoon and basketball at night (TNT). I love Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

No money , and my mom doesn't really like Turkey , the only reason we bought turkey was because of my dad , since he left this is the first thanksgiving , so no Turkey this year . Hell I might just go to subway and get myself a turkey sandwhich just for the sake of thanksgiving .

Yeah, the Canadians have already celebrated Thanksgiving in October. I'm not that much into turkey anyway.

Turkey is the worst kind of meat you can eat, it's horrible. Should be banned.

Anyways the only way this holiday could be any more typically American is if it had the word "Freedom" thrown in it somewhere.

I agree,
Thanksgiving is a pretty worthless holiday.

I just got back from Thanksgiving with some of my family. My aunt's a good cook, so it was good as it always is. I would say it's a stupid holiday, but since it gets me a whole week off of school and you get to eat ridiculously good food for no reason, I can't.

Thanksgiving is basically a 5 day super holiday. You got to respect those holidays!
Nothing beats Carnaval's 1 week holiday though! (Brazilian holiday...)

It's like this. I hate Christopher Columbus for enslaving all those indians, chopping their hands off and all, but hey, if there is a holiday for it, Christopher Columbus is a great man! So what if we celebrate the only day of peace between Native Americans and Caucasians before the whites basically raped and killed all those Native Americans?
It's a holiday! Thank Goodness the whites actually got food and all that shit before they murdered all those Native Americans!

(By the way, if you don't get the chopping off hands reference...Christopher Columbus wrote it in his diary. Saying he chopped off hands of these Native Americans because they were "lazy" carrying hundreds and hundreds of pounds of some mineral not gold.)
Bored.
