What will you do when you grow up?

Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

What will you do when you grow up?

Postby iG® on Fri Nov 11, 2005 7:38 am

I'm just curious. I'm hoping that I'll work on some TV station/music studio as a designer or producer. Or what's your job now if you're a bit older?

Become a criminologist.

It's between that or a serial killer. I find the psychopathic side of the serial killer profession a lot more appealing but with criminology I'd be working with a lot more folks (criminals) so I could study their psychology.

Makes life a tad more interesting, doesn't it? I'll probably start with my family before I move on to others.

If that is what I end up doing.

Become a criminologist

I took Criminology.. it sucks. Period.

Well I see myself in 3 or 4 years being a full-time Architect and Architectural Engineer. I'm currently working as a drafter for a home builder but would like to have a degree. Freelance drafting on the side.. maybe open up my own firm one day.

I would also like to have a family.. 3 wives.. 2 kids and 2 dogs.

Maybe a parrot.
Preparation will only take you so far. After that you've got to take a few leaps of faith.

It doesn't matter what I want to be, because I'll probably end up as a hobo or a male stripper or something.

I wanna be a graphics designer. Don't know if I have the skills to be one especially since I don't really have an educational background on graphics design except for a few electives

Something related to basketball would be great

And of course the best cliche answer, professional bum

That would do the trick. I've decided what course I'm taking at university, it covers various elements of graphics design and other things in the general infotech field. It's called TechOne, I bet you're surprised at that name. Requirements aren't too high compared to my marks either. I just got to maintain the 5-8% window I have on them right now.

For any of my Vancouver homies it's at SFU.

Hm. I'm studying political science, so it would propably be something in that direction. It would be cool to become an assistant for one of my professors, but it would be hard to achievet :).. I'lll propably end up in advertising bussiness or something like that.
