I think Criss Angel's is more impressive. Blaine's has something to do with his back foot being hidden cleverly.

Blaine also uses a distraction (like all illusionists do) while he does that levitating thingy so that the spectator will just focus on the feet or whatever part to conceal the "technique."

Criss Angel is impressive, but the dude freaks me off. I can't watch him.

argh my eyes that 1st one is so weird, and i yeh i heard the levetation trick is just standing on one leg but your position and how you hide it is the key never seen Criss Angel anyone got any clips

If I understand what you mean by levetation trick, I can do it. You just stand at a bit of an angle and go up on one toe.

If anyone's wondering, Criss Angel has his own website with some clips on it, www.crissangel.com That stuff is fucking amazing. I just watched him have a couple people hold this girl in a lying down position, and then they all let her go and she just floated there. Camera showed it from all angles too, and I have no idea how he did it.

Criss Angel and David Blaine are practically the same but they just appeal to different crowds due to there style. Angel pretty much copies alotta stuff from Blaine and makes his magic look like something the devil gave him, whilst Blaine is more down to earth although he seems to be recovering from a hangover all the time considering his tone of voice.

I hate the effects Angel has in his shows, too much of flashiness he's like Rob Zombie or Maralyn Mansun gone magician. I dunno I know lots of people seem to like him more because of his weird productions but I find Blaine more understandable and easier to watch.....best part is Blaine doesnt put his family members watching his tricks and faking tears and acting like their child is going to die(when they obviously know he aint), that just makes it a sellout and thats another reason I tend not to like Angel that much.

Of course none of them have any sort of powers and there are many websites telling you how each trick is done, they just happend to be some of the few that got more cash and therefore put themselves on TV.

Its not a fake reaction, its the reaction he gets to the one he does with the feet and then they edit it.

Yeah, I read about how they edited and kept certain scenes to be "real" and fake. The same probably happened with Angel's work.

I think to watch Angel/Blaine's levitation thing, Angel's is virtually flawless. There can't possibly be a camera angle thing because the camera goes everywhere on a constant loop, so it doesn't cut out or anything like that. I really have no idea how he does it, it could even be some bizarre mind over matter shit, who knows. Blaines on the other hand... only ever uses the 1 camera angle, only goes up a certain height etc. It's pretty easy to pick apart.

Another great illusionist (well, this guy isn't really an illusionist) is Derren Brown from England. He does mind tricks, for instance he said before he started taking his show to the streets and got a TV gig, he used to go to greyhound races and bid $10 on a dog that was running 100-1. The dog would lose inevitably, and he'd go upto the bet collection thing and say "This is the winning ticket".

The person would take the ticket (he did this live on TV to prove it), look at it and say "Sorry that dog didn't win". Then he did this weird thing where he'd slap the wall next to the window and say "This IS the winning ticket". The person would take the ticket and be like "Oh sorry you're right" and he'd get $1,000 out of it.
