Go to the section about the new Boston Celtics jersey and the link directs you to the link below which is a picture taken from the NLSC.

Wow this sites quite popular, Im wondering whether ESPN got permission to use this screenshot?
If they didnt, Andrew can sue them or Frannn.

Wow  that's pretty interesting, although they probably should've asked for permission to be honest.

Jezus, they even directly linked to it. :|

I mean, if you're going to take something without asking (which I'll assume they didn't do) atleast upload it to Imageshack to try and cover your tracks, they should learn something from Mazocchi.

i take it they didn't need permission but i'll get back to ya on this after my law exam in which a Q exactly like this scenario will be asked....i forgot, gotta re-study.

EDIT: while i'm on a legal thing here, cracks (like for Live 2006) are NOT ILLEGAL as long as they are not for commercial use (i.e sale). There's nothing wrong with creating a crack, and sharing it with the world as long as you don't sell it.

Internet Laws I think aren't defined clearly actually and I don't think the NLSC holds any rights to copyright... and it's not liek ESPN is stealing any ideas and just a picture. In this case, is it stealing?

Great find no matter what! (Y)

The Uni-Watch always links to remote sites. They just go on a pic-jacking spree.

It's alright that it's not illegal, it's still not permitted at the NLSC. :)

Not my style. Besides, I'm pretty sure they've had mentions on large sites and in magazines before. Enthusiasm drives the unofficial fansite, but recognition is nice. ;)

they never said where the preview came from.. it would've been much better if they stated that it came from nba-live.com.. but oh well, i've got nothing against them putting my preview there.. hehe it's all good. :)

It's a direct link, and I don't think there's anything wrong with that, as ESPN didn't exactly download the picture and put it on their servers.

If you're not gonna change it to something offensive (which is a great idea), you could ad 'nba-live.com' or something like that (y)
