I'm going with Astros, although it'll be a close series, probably seven games. The Astros just seem to have the momentum going right now, if they don't win the whole thing, they'll at least win the first game.

white sox in 6

houston's big 3 have the edge over the white sox top 3 but the sox depth is better. Garcia is miles ahead of backe. oswalt will probably only pitch 1 game, which is a good thing for chicago

the bullpen is just about equal. not sure how the rest affects the sox bullpen

the sox lineup is stronger then the astros

all of the games should be closely contested

I think the Pale Hose will take the series, but I wouldn't be surprised no matter how many games it takes. I could see us coming out firing on all cylinders and continuing the domination that we have displayed so far this postseason, but I also wouldn't be surprised if every game was close and it went 7.

I'm going to agree with AG and say sox in 6.

How is it a "World Series", when it involves only American teams?

Two Canadians team too... Also, the MLB is dominated by players from the world. Even moreso than any other professional sports.

Oh yeah, Astros are going all the way, bitches.

Why is it called the 'World Championship' in the NBA?

I don't know either. Let's ask Riot, he's the resident US expert. Riot, why do the US insist on calling their sports championships 'world'? Do you think you represent the world?

 How was I brought up into this? I think since so many foriegn born players come to America to play our professional sports that they figured World Series or World Championship is more fitting. Especially in baseball, where there are more foriegn born players and American players it seems.

The games represent the world because the world's best tend to come to America to play here. I guses that's what they mean. But honestly...I have no fucking clue.

I thought it was always called the World Series, and it wasn't always full of foreigners either, I guess it's just one of those American things.

Going with Astros... I saw in a newspaper that a girl accepts to have sex for any game's ticket... and a guy would donate a kidney.
