Should Bruschi return??

Postby Doobie on Wed Oct 19, 2005 10:35 pm

Well everyone here knows that he had a stroke back in Febuary . Tedy says he wants to return , but do you think he should? He says he's ready . I honestly believe that if the Patriots were 6-0 he wouldn't be in a rush to return. I think he should sit out the rest of the season.

If he feels ready to return and the doctors say it's safe than he should.

I vote No because you said early return. He's practicing now with multiple doctor's consent, and definitely shouldn't play this week. But I think after that it's their bye and then it's the game vs. Indy. If the doctor's give him the go before that, he should DEFINITELY play against Indy.

I'm not so sure he should play. Obviously he seems to have a lot of doctor support, and I can't realize the drive he has to play, but it's risking his life. If it was a knee or ankle, I'd give him the green light, but it'd be too risky for me personally to try.

Doctors say he is fully healed and he is at no more of a risk for another stroke than any other player. He is fully recovered from the stroke.

I hope he plays against us. I want to beat them when they are as close to full strength as possible. If we knock them out in the playoffs this year, I don't wanna hear the whole "Well, they didn't have Harrison or Bruschi" crap.

He has three superbowl rings, a wife and children and a ton of money. Waiting until next year won't hurt him.

Um... I was talking shit? Notice how I said If we knock them out...

All I said was that I want to play them at full strength.

Once again: If we beat them in the playoffs, I don't want Pat fans to have that excuse... what's so hard to understand here?
