Which Undefeated NFL Team will most likely make it?

Postby IndianaPacersMan on Fri Oct 07, 2005 10:23 am

Which team?

These four are the only ones undefeated after week 4 (Most Current).

Colts?

Bengals?

Buccs?

Redskins?

Key players of each team:

Colts: Manning(QB), James(HB), Harrison(WR), Dwight Freeney(DE), and Corey Simon(DT)

Bengals: Carson Palmer(QB), Chad Johnson(WR), Deltha O'neal(CB)

Buccs: Griese(QB), Williams(Rookie HB), Micheal Clayton(WR), Ronde Barber(CB), Simeon Rice(DE), Derrick Brooks(OLB)

Redskins: Brunell(QB), Ramsey(QB), Clinton Portis(HB), Santana Moss(WR), Lavar Arrington(OLB)

Ehh...well if I do remember correctly the Buccs made the superbowl a few years ago and their defense is better than the rest.

Plus, the Bengals could get it done if Carson Palmer improves this year and gets alot of his passes to Chad Johnson.

Then the Redskins have Santana now after the trade of Coles to the Jets for Santana.

They could have a better offensive year this year.

Not if their Defense keeps it up.

Panthers Defense is pretty High Quality too.

I see the colts winning the big one this year.

If we lock up home field and the Pats don't...we have this one.

We have the best shot out of anyone to win the Superbowl. Period.

None of those other teams are even close to the Colts level. The only teams that are a threat to the Colts are the Steelers, Patriots, Falcons, Eagles, Chargers.

Although the Colts are a very good ball club and are doing very well, I think people are overrating their defense.

They've played the Ravens, Jaguars, Browns, Titans and 49ers. None of those are very good offense clubs. You could make a case for those clubs being some of the worst offenses in the league.

Well, I do believe the Jags had a good game against the Jets.

Throwing that OT TD pass to Jimmy Smith.

Yeah.

Pats aren't as good this year.

Without Ty Law...and some of their LB's from last year they aren't much of a threat.

Wille Parker of the Steelers is a pretty big threat rushing.

Now that they don't have Plaxico Burress they aren't much of a passing threat except for Atwaan Randle El and Hines Ward.

Eagles....they haven't changed mush except for losing or dropping Freddie Mitchell.

Surprising actually.

He has Plaxico Burress now and he still can't get his passing game going.

I think they rely on Tiki too much.
