I don't know anything about AFL, but I'm assuming it's not Port.

Yes, it's the almight Port Adelaide Football Club. There is no denying they are the greatest footy club ever.

...which is why they barely made the finals, didnt get close to the grand final, didnt look like making the finals at all for most of the season, and it was only through pure luck that the Dockers were the team they had to beat, cause the Dockers suck. you want greatness? how about (unfortunately) sydney? west coast? brisbane? essendon?

How about 34 SANFL premierships and a AFL premiership? That's pure greatness. I don't start about the Maggies being a completely different club, because under the banner of the 'Port Adelaide Football Club' there is 34 SANFL premierships and 1 AFL premiership. The Magpies became the 'Port Adelaide Magpies Football Club' when the PAFC license was transferred to the AFL.

Port Adelaide are the greatest footy team ever. And we're only getting started.

hehe...seriously man, you cannot possibly say they are the greatest team ever...there are plenty of teams better. and by best team in history do you mean team or club?

lets say you mean what you said, team. a team is the 22 players that take to the field for a given game. taking the definition of team more generally, lets say this seasons squad. um...what, eighth place on the ladder? that means 7 teams were better than them this season.

if, however, you made a common mistake and said team when you meant club, well, i have to disagree there as well. try collingwood, who, until recently, held the record for most premierships won. try collingwood, the only club to have won four in a row. try collingwood, the club to make the most grand finals in AFL history. and this is coming from an eagles supporter who, as most of us do, hates collingwood.

port adelaide are the biggest chokers of at least the last decade. they won a premiership. they won thirty-four premierships in a region-confused league. whoopy-fucking-doo.
